The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza look forward to welcoming Al-Anon in 2010!

The recently renovated Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana is the host for the 2010 Al-Anon conference.  A special group rate of $99 per night has been secured for attendees of the Al-Anon conference.  To make your reservation call 1-800-395-7046 and ask for the Al-Anon rate.

Registration opens on April 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.  The last session ends on April 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Please check back for a full conference schedule as it becomes available.

If you are interested in bringing crafts or food for the hospitality room that would be appreciated. You can also volunteer time in service to help with crafts, literature, registration or the hospitality room. For more information click below:

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

There are plenty of things for your family to do while visiting the South Shore.  For those not attending the conference spend the morning touring Albanese Candy factory and watch as their famous gummies are made right before your eyes.  If candy isn't your thing, head across the street for shopping at Westfield Mall or travel to downtown Crown Point for antique shopping.  Check out the link in the upper left hand corner of this page for other area attractions.
