Let the cellos make you mellow. Kirk Muspratt, music director and conductor, knows a thing or two about taking audiences through sweeping orchestral waves, and we don’t mean the waves at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. A night with the symphony is a break from the everyday mundane. If you’ve never seen a symphony perform before, you’re in for a treat. The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra is truly music to your ear. Here’s a breakdown of their summer concert series and their locations:
July 23: The Town Complex Grounds in Cedar Lake
July 30: On the Lawn at Franciscan Communities in Crown Point
August 5: The Wolf Lake Pavilion in Hammond
August 6: Central Park in Griffith
August 13: Redar Park in Schererville
