The Indiana State Festivals Association (ISFA) recently contracted the South Shore CVA and Terri Grabill to serve as the northern region's Account Executives for the 2017 and 2018 Indiana Festival Guide.

The Indiana Festival Guide is the state's most popular annual guidebook. The 96-page, full-color catalogue includes more than 600 Indiana festivals and events and is distributed to 500,000 travelers each year. The publication has been produced annually since 1972 and the Indiana State Festivals Association has been the publisher since the 2010 edition.

Account Executives are contracted by ISFA to serve all of the festivals and travel destinations in a region of the state to facilitate their participation in the Indiana Festival Guide. The northern region of Indiana includes the following 14 counties: Lake, Porter, La Porte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, La Grange, Steuben, Newton, Jasper, Pulaski, Fulton, Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko. Newton County has been added to the northern region because of the South Shore CVA's tourism marketing efforts and partnership with the county.

The Indiana State Festivals Association saw the need to expand the northern market and will also be expanding the Festival Guide in 2017. ISFA seeks to grow membership in 2017 for the 8th consecutive year through the new partnership with the South Shore CVA and Terri Grabill.

"This partnership," stated Kim Stevens, President of the Indiana State Festivals Association, "will be built on the leadership of the ISFA members partnering with a highly qualified and goal directed South Shore CVA and Terri Grabill."

"We continue to look at options to better represent the South Shore and the State of Indiana; partnering with ISFA helps build crucial strategic statewide relationships that continue to grow the destination and increase visitation," said Speros A. Batistatos, President/CEO of the South Shore CVA. He continued, "Ms. Grabill has more than a decade of experience with the State Festival Guide - coupled with our (South Shore CVA) expertise and strategic approach to partnering outside of county lines, we will be able to expand participation from the Illinois border to Ohio border."

To become an Indiana State Festivals Association member or an Indiana Festival Guide advertiser, contact Terri Grabill at or contact the South Shore CVA at 219-989-7770. The deadline to be included in the 2017-2018 Guide is August 31, 2016.

The Indiana State Festivals Association is the state's largest membership organization for festivals and events. ISFA publishes the Indiana Festival Guide each year and maintains the website, featuring searchable festival listings. More than 630 festivals and events receive promotion, leadership and education opportunities as members of ISFA.
