The Dillinger Museum was moved to the Old Lake County Courthouse in Crown Point's downtown in 2015. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed Mondays.

The John Dillinger Museum takes visitors on a historical adventure through the life of John Dillinger and other gangsters during the Depression Era crime spree in the Midwest. Through the stories of the infamous gangsters, visitors will also learn of the rise of the FBI and the advancement made in crime fighting technology. The museum is home to the most comprehensive collection of Dillinger artifacts including the "death trousers," the infamous wooden gun, Dillinger's lucky rabbit's foot and more.

Visitors are asked to take special note of the memorial in the museum that honors the brave men, women and K9's of Lake County, Ind. who have died in the line of duty dating back to the 1910s.
