During a special presentation by Judge Kenneth L. Anderson, attendees will learn the story of Abraham Lincoln's ability to bring people together, come to a consensus and change the prospective of people.

The event, "Lincoln on Leadership," is presented by the Shared Ethics Advisory Commission and the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, and will be hosted on Wednesday, Oct. 7 beginning at 2 p.m. Anderson is a noted historian and award-winning playwright on the life of Lincoln. The "Lincoln on Leadership" presentation is free and open to the public.

The presentation is in conjunction with the Lincoln Funeral Train exhibit, a full-size replica of the train that carried President Abraham Lincoln's body across the United States more than 150 years ago. The exhibit was created by The 2015 Lincoln Funeral Train group to commemorate the 150th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's assassination and funeral.

The train will be on display at the Indiana Welcome Center Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11. Admission to view the Lincoln Funeral Train is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors (65+) and children (5-12), and free for children under 5.

The Indiana Welcome Center is located at 7770 Corinne Drive in Hammond. For more information on the Lincoln Funeral Train exhibit or the "Lincoln on Leadership" discussion, call 219-989-7770 or visit www.southshorecva.com/lincolntrain.
