Are you a fan of popcorn, pumpkins or a good scare? Northwest Indiana's fall events provide family-fun and outdoor activities. Local farmers' markets continue through autumn and the u-pick orchards and pumpkin patches have special events and hands-on activities. Don't foget to check out the South Shore Brewery Trail and app to find the latest brewfests. Our calendar is constantly being updated, so check back often!

Family Day at the Douglas Center

Enjoy hands-on family activities in the park's west end visitor center, especially the new Nature Play Zone where unstructured play in nature is the tradition. Help feed the center's resident turtles or fish or join a ranger for a hike in Miller Woods. More
