8:00 pm - Thea Bowman Academy vs. Farragut Academy

A 3-Year Successful Run (2008-2010)

• Increased attendance to approx. 7,000 people in 2010 from 3,000 in 2009.
• Tripled college and business fair participation from 2008 to 2010.
• High school basketball teams from throughout Indiana and Illinois participating, in a "Border Battle"
• challenge.
• A history of teams coming back to play year to year.
• Corporate events featuring prominent guest speakers including:

1. Gregg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs head coach and region native
2. Gene Keady, Purdue University head coach, retired
3. Bob Love, Chicago Bulls star, retired
4. Bryce Drew, Valparaiso University, Associate Head Coach and 1994 Mr. Indiana Basketball

Tickets:

Tickets will go on sale in late September and are available from the Gary Chamber of Commerce located at 839 Broadway, Suite S103 Gary, IN 46402. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Direct questions to Jan Bowden at 219.885.7407 or jbowden@garychamber.com.  

• Adults - $12 per day or $20 for 2 days
• Students - $7 per day or $10 for 2 days (College and under; must show school id at door)
  

Tickets are available for either one or two days of events. Your ticket entitles you to entry to the following:

• College and University Recruitment Fair and Vendor Fair
• Holiday Hoops Classic games
• Local and Midwest high school basketball challenge
• Live entertainment on floor of Genesis Center
