Situated along Lake Michigan and just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, Indiana's South Shore is the perfect destination for your next meeting or event. Our centralized location along major thoroughfares like I-65, I-80/90 and US 30 make us easily accessible from all destinations.

The South Shore is home to several hotels and meeting facilities that will suit all your meeting needs.

Beauty, history, fun, and excitement await your attendees when they step outside of their hotel or meeting room. If excitement is what you crave, let the CVA help set up a trip to one of five lakefront casinos or check out top name entertainment at Horseshoe Casino or the Star Plaza Theatre.

If you desire a slower pace, let the CVA arrange a trip to one of our historic towns where attendees can shop for antiques and experience some of the amazing historical architecture available within our community.

Indiana's South Shore is only 30 minutes from downtown Chicago for recreational shopping. The CVA is happy to help arrange transportation for your attendees or spouses for a shopping trip down the magnificent mile.

If you are a lover of the outdoors, you will be right at home. It's all here, golfing, swimming, hiking, sailing, and fishing. With pro-level golf courses, and miles of beaches, trails, and sand dunes, the South Shore is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the gracious hospitality of Northwest Indiana.

Along with the long list of attractions and activities, let our professional staff be there to provide you with creative and knowledgeable information to ensure that every meeting need is met with ease.
