More than 1 million hits per year. SouthShoreCVA.com has been completely redesigned and reflects the South Shore brand promoting hotels, restaurants and attractions from a tri-county region. Partners receive a listing and reciprocal web link. Partners can also update information at any time via our partner portal.
The South Shore CVA has a database of more than 100,000 names of visitors with various interests. An e-newsletter is sent out each month to a different list based on those visitors’ interests.
In 2010 sporting events in the South Shore filled 8,000+ hotel rooms bringing $3 million in estimated economic impact to the area. More than 25,000 visitors attended the 2010 sporting events in the South Shore. Learn more here.
Through the partnership program, reach out directly to groups like the Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana Fraternal Order of Police, and Indiana State Police Chaplains. Organizations like these will generate thousands of dollars for the local economy by filling hotels, eating at area restaurants, and shopping in stores along the South Shore.
Partners are able to distribute brochures at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond which sees more than 75,000 visitors annually. The Indiana Welcome Center is open 7 days a week to visitors. The indoor video kiosk is a great resource for partners to promote discounts, events/festivals and more.
