Dyer, Indiana
Visitors traveling through Dyer, on Lincoln Highway, will be driving down the historic " Ideal Stretch". The ideal stretch, the first paved road in Indiana, was part of Carl G. Fisher's vision for a coast-to-coast rock highway unheard of 1912.
The Historic Meyer's Castle built in the 20th Century sits on 10 acres of the town's highest ground. Although the castle is privately owned, travelers can visit the Jacobethan Revival Architecture for an Argentinean and Brazilin dinner by reservation at Rodizio's Steak House.
