Three legends of the South Shore will be inducted on Thursday, Dec 17 at 5:30pm at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond. Awardees are selected by a panel of judges representing the 7-counties of northwest Indiana. Legends are chosen based on the four values: courage, exploration, creativity and innovation. The 11th Annual ceremony will also honor an additional Legends Scholar from one of our local universities.

The 2015 inductees that will be honored are: Gary Roosevelt and Crispus Attucks Basketball Teams of 1955; Lewis "Lew" Wallace and Fighting Hoosiers of the 20th Indiana Volunteer Infantry.
