The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana will be hosting its Second Saturday event on Saturday, Nov. 8 beginning at 3:00 p.m. The event offers attendees the opportunity to view a laser light show and a planetarium show.

The laser light show will be "Laser Vinyl," and will feature laser art set to classic rock songs by artists such as AC/DC, Queen, Kansas and more.

The November planetarium show will include "Stars" and "South Shore Skies." During "Stars," attendees will explore the powerhouses of the universe and our relationship with the night sky throughout history. "South Shore Skies" provides attendees with easy-to-use stargazing tips to find points of interest in the skies over southern Lake Michigan.

Attendees may purchase tickets to either the laser light show or planetarium show at $5 for adults and $3 for children. A special package including both shows is $8 for adults and $5 for children.

Individual planetarium shows begin at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Individual laser light shows begin at 3:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
