The Early Learning Center's recycled "Dory" project will be featuring in the annual Renewing the Region Exhibit on display until July 14 at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond. Dory has been composed of recycled materials collected by the students at the Early Learning Center during their annual Maker Fair.

Megan Faulkner, curator of the exhibit will visit the Early Learning Center at George Earle at 400 N. Wilson Street in Hobart at 2:30pm today to ask the 300+ kindergarteners and preschoolers that took part in the project if it can be displayed at the exhibit.

Renewing the Region is on display at the Indiana Welcome Center located at 7770 Corinne Drive in Hammond, Ind. The exhibit will showcase hundreds of artworks that are made from recycled and renewed objects.
