Fair Oaks Farms Master Cheesemakers’ Aged Gouda Wins

2007 World Dairy Expo Grand Championship

 

 

FAIR OAKS, Ind. -  It was another terrific day in the history of Indiana food & agriculture as an Aged Gouda produced by Randy Krahenbuhl of Fair Oaks Farms was selected as the Cheese and Butter Grand Champion of the 2007 World Dairy Expo. This is the second time Fair Oaks Farms has won this prestigious award; in 2005 they won it for their Swiss-style Emmentaler. Fair Oaks also received a first place award for its’ Muenster and received second place awards for its’ Sweet Swiss, Havarti and Asiago.  The contest is the only national judging contest of its kind in the United States to include a comprehensive variety of dairy products.
