The Goodland Grand Prix Festival is in its 15th year and features a .69 miles, 8-turn street course winding through the streets of Goodland. Enjoy go-kart racing at the Goodland Grand Prix from June 23-25.
On June 23, a Chicken Dinner will be served in the park followed up by a DJ and street dancing downtown. The Grand Parade starts on June 24 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Grand Prix practice will begin. Heat races will take place in the afternoon. After the heat races, visitors can enjoy dinner in the park followed by live music including Rodney Watts, a Nashville Recording Artist from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A fireworks show will begin at dusk and Turn It Up, The Ultimate Lynyrd Skynyrd will rock the audience from 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
At 11:15 a.m. on June 25, the Opening Ceremonies take place and participants will parade around the track honoring our veterans. During the singing of the National Anthem, skydivers from Air Indiana skydiving will carry the American, POW/MIA and Indiana State Flags. The green flag will drop at noon for the start of the 15th annual Goodland Grand Prix. Spectators can also enjoy the Garden Tractor Pull and a Classic Car Show on Benton Street during the races.
