Keynote Address at National Tourism Week Luncheon
Focuses on ‘Future of Travel'
Hammond - The Annual National Tourism Week Luncheon, hosted by the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, will feature keynote speaker, Maura Gast. Gast, is recognized as an industry expert on technology and marketing issues and is a trailblazer on recognizing tourism as a vital component of economic development. She currently is the chair of Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI), recently completed DMAI's Futures Study task force and holds a Fellow Certified Destination Management Executive designation.
The luncheon will be held at the Indiana Welcome Center (7770 Corinne Drive) in Hammond on May 13th. Registration will begin at 11:30am and the lunch will start promptly at noon. National Tourism Week is nationally supported by the U.S. Travel Association and is a collective effort to promote the power of travel.
