LCCVB Seeks Nominations for Outstanding Service

Hammond – The Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking nominations for outstanding front-line employees for the Annual R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) Awards. The R.O.S.E. Award Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza.

Each year supervisors, managers and owners are able to recognize any and all employees that ‘go the extra mile’ for guests and who have demonstrated exceptional work ethics throughout the year. The employees nominated include front-line (those that directly interact with the guest) at hotels, attractions, casinos, retail outlets, service industries and restaurants. “Front-line employees have the ability to create positive impressions of the Northwest Indiana on guests. They are our directors of first impression,” stated Speros A. Batistatos, President/CEO, LCCVB.

Last year’s nominees were surprised on the job and presented a rose and invitation to the awards ceremony. The Lake County CVB with help from the R.O.S.E. Award selection committee will provide a similar celebration and surprise for nominees.

Nomination forms can be filled out online at www.lakecountycvb.com and are submitted directly to the R.O.S.E. Award selection committee. Forms can also be obtained by calling Erika Scheeringa at 219.989.7770. All nominations must reach the LCCVB by February 16, 2007.
