A Photography Exhibit

Hammond - The photography exhibit, Sanctuaries will be on display beginning February 4th and ending March 4th at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond. A Sanctuary can be defined as a place of refuge or protection, a safe or sacred place and even emotional refuge. More than 26 local photographers will display their Sanctuaries in photographs taken throughout the South Shore. Approximately 175 photographs will be in the exhibit.

The public is welcome to join the photographers for the opening reception on Thursday, February 4th at 5:30pm. The Indiana Welcome Center is located at 7770 Corinne Drive in Hammond and is open from 8am to 5pm. All exhibits in the W.F. Wellman Exhibit Hall are free.
