This unique opportunity is offered for $6 per photo. A portion of the proceeds from each pet photo will be donated to a local animal rescue. Participants are also encouraged to bring in donations for the local rescue.
In addition to Wag your Tail Wednesdays, Santa will be available for photos leading up to Christmas. Santa will visit the Indiana Welcome Center Friday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays in December from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special Santa sittings will be Dec. 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each 4x6 commemorative photo is $6.
The "A Christmas Story" Comes Home exhibit, which is presented in agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, will run through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. The exhibit features six animatronic scenes from the holiday film, "A Christmas Story." A bronze statue of Flick, with his tongue permanently "stuck" to a flagpole can also be viewed outside of the Indiana Welcome Center.
