The South Shore Regional Car Show will be held at Fair Oaks Farms on August 4 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Aug 4 was the Rain Date scheduled previously. The event is open to the public and visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or make a donation to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana as admission.
Approximately one hundred classic, antique and vintage cars will fill Fair Oaks Farms for a unique car show experience. During the event, families will have the opportunity to view cars, take helicopter rides and enjoy many of Fair Oaks' attractions.
Car enthusiasts who would like to participate can register the day of the car show for $20. The first 100 car owners registered will receive a free t-shirt and commemorative dash plaque. Registration begins at 3:00 p.m. and continues to 5:30 p.m. Awards will be given to the winning cars in select categories at 7:30 p.m. Fair Oaks Farms will offer a buy-one-get-one offer for car show registrants and their families.
Fair Oaks Farms is located at 856 N. 600 E. in Fair Oaks, Ind. Visitors can enjoy Mooville and the Cowfe until 7:00 p.m. The Dairy, Pig and Crop Adventures will be open until 5:00 p.m. with Pig bus tours ending at 3:30 p.m. and Dairy bus tours ending at 4:00 p.m. For additional information and updates, visit www.alongthesouthshore.com/carshow.
