The ROSE Awards honor front-line employees who serve as positive "directors of first impressions" and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a positive lasting impression for visitors of the South Shore.
The RISE Awards honor managerial employees that have risen above expectations and must interact directly with customers on a regular basis or past ROSE Awards winners who have again exceeded expectations.
Nominations can be submitted by guests, managers and owners and should include a detailed description of the extraordinary customer service demonstrated with descriptions of more than 40 words and less than 200. Nominations for both ROSE Awards and RISE Awards are due Thursday, Aug. 28, and can be submitted by visiting www.rose-awards.com. One dozen ROSE Awards winners and numerous RISE Awards winners will be announced during an awards dinner slated for Sept. 24 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville, Ind.
