According to Dan Seemiller, tournament director and table tennis coach with South Bend Table Tennis Center, the tournament is known as one of the best junior event in the country.
The tournament will feature the Nate Wasserman Junior Championships and will offer $5,400 spread across the different junior events.
Participating in the tournament is the national collegiate champion of men's singles, Cheng Li of Mississippi College.
The public is welcome to attend the tournament and watch as players take to the tables. Matches will be played between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. The semifinal and the final of the open will be played between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is no cost to attend.
