This Friday, October 13th, join the NWI Food Council and the Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition for a screening of "Planting Justice," an eight-minute peek into grassroots work on urban farming and equitable access to affordable, nutritious food. This film is part of the Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition's statewide film festival and serves to bring together beginning farmers, community activists and consumers to connect and have fun. Guests will enjoy bites from The Gourmet Goddess, cider and donuts from County Line Orchard, and fresh popcorn!

This casual event will be open from 5-8 pm at the Indiana Welcome Center to provide an opportunity to get to know other attendees, talk to your neighbors about food and farming, and learn more about the NWI Food Council and the Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition. Admission is free and kids are welcome. We'll be looping the film throughout the event, so come any time!
