Summer Market on the Lake
Thursdays, June 4 - September 3, 2015
On Thursdays beginning June 4 through September 3, the city of Hobart's Summer Market on the Lake returns to Festival Park! Stop by Lake George for fresh produce, beer gardens, gourmet foods and much more. Visitors to the Summer Market are encouraged to stay on the lake past 7 p.m. for live entertainment in the Festival Park Bandshell. There's a reason why the Summer Market has become known as the place to be!

Movies in the Park
Thursdays, June 11 - July 30, 2015
Thursday nights at Hobart's Festival Park aren't only for the adults. Unpack the blankets, bring a picnic basket and save your spot for movies in the park. Free screenings occur every Thursday night June 11 through July 30. The movies begin at dusk and if you forget the popcorn, don't worry — popcorn and beverages are compliments of Suncrest Christian Church.

4th of July Fireworks and Concerts

That's right. Patriotic pride shall overtake Lake George on our nation's Independence Day. The 4th of July falls on a Saturday, and you can trust the vendors of Festival Park to approve skipping the cooking for the evening in exchange for their delicious gourmet foods. 24th Annual Lakefront Festival
August 20 - 23, 2015
Four days of fun returns to Festival Park beginning August 20. The Hobart Jaycees have put together a beer garden, the Hobart Community Foundation is bringing the Dam Duck Race and live music and entertainment from multiple acts will keep you entertained all weekend long.
If you're a fan of arts and crafts, scrumptious food and live entertainment, then the annual Lakefront Festival will be expecting you (yes, I'm talking to YOU).
Opportunities for fun at Festival Park are endless this summer. A little Vitamin D is good for the body and lucky for us, the sun has an endless supply. Get your fill by venturing out to Lake George in the city of Hobart and explore all that the wonderful city has to offer.
