Headquartered in Elm Grove, Wisconsin - a stone's throw from the old Milwaukee Road line - we're a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to educate railroad passengers about what they are seeing out their window. The Rail Rangers is made up of over one dozen Midwest-based Interpretive Guides who have extensive backgrounds in history, education, and public speaking... plus a great knowledge of various Midwestern railroad routes. We provide live onboard educational programs on the South Shore Line two to three times per month between Chicago and South Bend, Indiana.

A special trip - today we are scheduled to feature our bonus cancellation stamps, route guidebooks, and our Junior Rail Rangers program.

Unless noted otherwise below, all EASTBOUND Midwest Rail Rangers programs on the South Shore Line take place aboard the train that departs Chicago-Millennium at 8:40AM CT... and all WESTBOUND Midwest Rail Rangers programs on the South Shore Line take place aboard the train that departs South Bend-Airport at 1:05PM ET.
