Spring Events
Springtime is full of new beginnings and plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy a number of activities, including Maple Syrup Time! Along the South Shore Maple Syrup Time is a tradition – visit the Indiana Dunes National Park or Deep River County Park to see how trees are tapped for maple syrup each spring.
Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Go green at the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Crown Point.
Sample craft beers from more than 30 breweries at Crown Beer Fest, another annual staple in the South Shore. Start cruising the local cruise nights or Munster’s very own Car and Cycle Show in May.
