About The Park

Parks Hours: (Open 7 am – 9 pm all week)

This park land is leased from the state and was dedicated in 1992. Creek Ridge encompasses 112 acres and is located just south of Michigan City.

A series of boardwalks allow all visitors a chance to experience the entire trail system. This property is host to deer, fox, raccoons, and rabbits that live in the park’s open field prairies, wetlands, and hardwood forests. An annual steelhead migration also occurs along Trail Creek.

The park offers picnicking, shelter rentals, rest rooms, well water, playground equipment, volleyball nets, bring your own bag toss games, fishing on Trail Creek, No-Leash Dog Exercise Area and a Disc Golf course.

Creek Ridge Park Playgrounds

Creek Ridge Park offers a couple of different playgrounds for children of all ages. The park features a playground for children ages 2-5 and another for children ages 5-12.
