Wine Tasting Tips
You don't have to be a sommelier - or wine steward - to enjoy our local Indiana wines. We've compiled a few tips to make you an expert in no time.
Step One: Hold your wine glass by the stem, this will not only keep your fingerprints off the goblet - so you can better see the color of your wine but it also keeps it at the correct temperature.
Step Two: Swirl the glass to let the wine "breathe."
Step Three: Sniff the wine, look for fruity or woody aromas.
Step Four: Sip your wine.
Step Five: Share your impressions and ask questions of the staff about the wine. When sharing your impressions, be sure to wait until everyone in your party has also had the chance to sample.
