Seasonal Activities
The South Shore has a multitude of interesting activities to enjoy throughout the year. No matter what your favorite season is, there's always something fun to do along the South Shore.
During the summer, relax on the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, take a charter out for fishing, catch a baseball game or visit one of the South Shore's many festivals and county fairs.
The beautiful colors of fall lure visitors outdoors where you can spend the day at the orchard, go on a hay ride, stroll through the parks to see the leaves changing colors or enjoy the local fall festivals.
In the winter months, go sledding down the hills, enjoy cross-country skiing on the trails or view dramatic shelf ice formations on the southern shore of Lake Michigan.
Spring is the perfect time to get out to the South Shore's beautiful golf courses, enjoy nature's revitalization at the Indiana Dunes or learn about the process of making maple syrup during Maple Syrup Time.
