Fall Activities

From late September through the end of October, fall means one thing for sure - it's time to visit the orchards along the South Shore. Enjoy apple picking, fresh doughnuts and cider, hayrides, corn mazes and more at County Line Orchard. There is also an orchard and pumpkin patch at Fair Oaks Farms, along with their interactive farming adventures and delicious foods.

For beautiful views of the fall foliage, hike the many trails in the Indiana Dunes. View tens of thousands of Sandhill Cranes migrating to the area in the fall, on their way south for the winter. If you're looking for even more to do, check out the fall events in the region or visit the local breweries and wineries.

There are plenty of fun adventures to discover this fall in Northwest Indiana.
