Family Day at the Douglas Center

Enjoy hands-on family activities in the park's west end visitor center, especially the new Nature Play Zone where unstructured play in nature is the tradition. Help feed the center's resident turtles or fish or join a ranger for a hike in Miller Woods. More

Kid's Rule at National Lakeshore Visitor Center

Started September 11, 2016 (Every Sunday)

Join a ranger from 1 to 3 p.m. in the visitor center's activity room for a Sunday afternoon of kid's activities, puppet shows, stories, and fun. Your children will learn a little more about your neighborhood national park. All children must be accompanied by an adult. More
