Prisoners too evil and vile for modern rehabilitation methods once occupied the Haunted Hills Hospital for treatment - it turns out they still do. War veterans, criminals, psychiatric patients and other dangerous characters wait for you at one of the nation's dirtiest little secrets. The medical staff meant to help the patients, but it appears they've only driven the patients deeper into madness. Guess who is in charge of the hospital now...

3) Lake Hills Haunted House

It all began when Dr. Goodenevil murdered his beloved daughter - the horror on the lakeside has continued since that day. Discover a two story building filled with frightful characters and memorable scares this Halloween in St. John. This attraction is not for the faint of heart, or the claustrophobic. There's a special hallway sure to send a chill through your spine.

4) Reapers Realm

Who needs The Walking Dead when you can experience zombies in real life? You'll want to see why it's being heralded as the best year they've had yet. 5) Old Sheriff's House Haunted House

226 S. Main Street, Crown Point
7-11 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 15-29

Maybe it's John Dillinger, maybe it's a different prisoner. Either way - the Old Sheriff's House in Crown Point is surely haunted. You have three weeks to investigate the haunting for yourself! Located right down the street from the John Dillinger Museum, you're due for a fright night on the square. Be prepared to be scared.
