Tree Decorating Time Slots

Below is the tree decorating information for the annual "A Christmas Story" Comes Home exhibit. Rules and Guidelines

Trees must be decorated during the following designated times:

• Sunday, November 4 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Monday, November 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The South Shore CVA will provide the tree (artificial) and stand. Your organization will be responsible for all decorations (lights are required). We highly recommend using UL-approved lights to enhance the presentation of your tree. Any type of edible/perishable tree decorations will not be permitted. Tinsel will also not be permitted as it is difficult to remove from the artificial trees. The South Shore CVA reserves the right to remove any decorations it finds inappropriate for the exhibit.

Tree decorations must be removed during the following times:

• Wednesday, January 2 through Sunday, January 6
  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Any decorations not removed by 5:00 p.m. on January 6 will be removed by the South Shore CVA. The South Shore CVA will not be responsible for any damage to decorations caused by removal from the tree.
