Golf
Looking for a place in Newton County to hit the green? Hazelden Country Club in Brook has been hosting golfers since 1910. The historic par 70, 18-hole golf course is near the scenic Iroquois River and is challenging for proficient golfers, yet gentle enough for beginners. Hazelden is open to the public seven days a week. They also have a banquet room in the clubhouse that is perfect for weddings, reunions and corporate events.
Lugene Links in Lake Village is open seven days a week. Tee time reservations are not usually needed. It is just recommended on weekends to call ahead to see if any groups are scheduled.
