Beach Safety & Rules at Marquette Park

Learn the beach rules at Marquette Park so you and your family can enjoy a safe day during Gary Air Show Weekend!

• Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Small children are not allowed in the water without adult supervision.
• Dogs and other animals (except service animals) are not allowed in the swimming areas.
• Swimmers must stay inside of buoys, and boats must stay outside of buoys.
• No swimming is allowed when rip current conditions are dangerous.
• Inflatables are not allowed in the water.
• Horseplay is not allowed.
