We are pleased to announce that Albanese Confectionery has partnered with the South Shore CVA as title sponsor for this event through at least 2027. Therefore, we are proud to present the Albanese Candy Bowl.

This NCAA Division II football bowl game originated in 2019 as America's Crossroads Bowl and is currently one of only two bowl games at the NCAA DII level. The Albanese Candy Bowl features two teams from two conferences, the G-MAC (Greater Midwest Athletic Conference) and the GLVC (Great Lakes Valley Conference).  
 

GAME TICKETS & BOWL BANQUET

Limited tickets are available for $12/adults; $7/kids and senior citizens; FREE for Pop Warner players in uniform with a paying adult; FREE for students (must show student id) and must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children 4 and under are free.

The Albanese Candy Bowl Banquet will be held Friday, December 5th, at Dean and Barbara White Community Center in Merrillville at 6:00 p.m. CST. This banquet is held to recognize both participating teams and the student-athletes for their outstanding seasons. Tickets are available for purchase for $40 / person.

2025 TEAMS
 

This year’s Albanese Candy Bowl will feature Upper Iowa University (GLVC) and Hillsdale College (G-MAC). 

The Upper Iowa University Peacocks will commute nearly five hours from Fayette, Iowa to compete for the Candy Bowl. They finished the season with an impressive 8-3 record and a perfect 5-0 record on their home turf. This will be their first appearance in this bowl game.

The Hillsdale College Chargers will drive only three hours from Hillsdale, Michigan to challenge the Peacocks for the first Albanese Candy Bowl title. The Chargers finished the season on a hot streak, winning their final four games, awarding them with a 6-5 record. This will be their second appearance in this bowl game.
