Submit an Event
Festivals and events submitted on the calendar must appeal to visitors as well as residents of the South Shore. Please provide a detailed description about the event itself. There is no need to restate the date, time and location in the description if the form is filled out properly.
The following types of events will not be posted as they do not have visitor appeal:
- Auctions
- Beauty pageants/talent shows
- Business expos
- Garage sales / church bazaars / flea markets
- Conferences/trade shows
- Easter egg hunts / trunk or treats
- Fish fries / spaghetti dinners / pancake breakfasts
- Fund-raising dinners / dances / events
- Grand openings
- Seminars / workshops / chamber meetings
- Golf outings
- Political events
- Community events that are only open to residents
