Fall Activities
From late September through the end of October, fall means one thing for sure - it's time to visit the orchards along the South Shore. Enjoy apple and pumpkin picking, fresh doughnuts, cider slushies, and an Orchard Pub at Fair Oaks Farms, along with their interactive farming adventures. You can also find the perfect pumpkins plus a lot more family-fun activities at Harvest Tyme, or at County Line Orchard, which has an apple orchard, too!
For beautiful views of the fall foliage, hike the many trails in the Indiana Dunes. View tens of thousands of Sandhill Cranes migrating to the area in the fall, on their way south for the winter. If you're looking for even more to do, check out the fall events in the region or visit the local breweries and wineries.
