If you prefer spirits, plan a visit to Journeyman - The American Factory in Valparaiso or 18th Street Distillery in Hammond. You can also take some brews or spirits home with you from the nationally-ranked and award-winning Three Floyds' retail kiosk.

Casinos

Seek out some high-rolling action at the casinos along Lake Michigan's South Shore including Hard Rock Casino in Gary, Horseshoe Casino Hammond, Ameristar Casino East Chicago and Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City. Both Horseshoe Casino and Hard Rock have performance venues featuring well-known acts all year and savory restaurants if you want to plan a complete night out.

Head to Hobart Art Theater, The Venue at Horseshoe Casino or Hard Rock Casino for live concerts from local bands and famous artists or laugh out loud alongside well-known comedians. After all that, you have to be hungry by this point! The restaurants and breweries have some tasty culinary creations you have to try.
