Downtown Hobart is home to a number of small shops. You'll find stores full of records, jewelry, used books, clothing and more. Grab a bite to eat while you're there at one of the local restaurants and stroll down to the water at Lakefront Park.

A vast variety of shopping options are available along the Hobart/Merrillville corridor on Route 30. Choose from big box stores, nationally known retailers, regional favorites or locally owned shops. Stop at Albanese Confectionery for fresh-from-the-factory gummies, delicious chocolates and your favorite childhood candies.

In the fall, County Line Orchard's Big Red Barn has gift items, fresh cider, delicious signature donuts, pies, caramel apples and more. Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride to pick your own apples in the orchard and fresh pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.
