Tournaments & Championships
The South Shore hosts extraordinary events of all kinds!
Baseball and softball tournaments can be found along the South Shore from early spring until late fall. National Softball Association’s Northern ‘B’ and ‘C’ World Series in July hosts nearly 200 teams and Game Day USA will host several tournaments throughout the season including a Nationals championship.
The South Shore recently hosted the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament, the largest collegiate volleyball tournament of its kind with 38 teams competing from three conferences.
America’s Crossroads Bowl was formed in 2019, a Division II Bowl Game featuring two teams, one from the Great Lakes Valley Conference and one from the Greater Midwest Athletic Conference.
Other events hosted in the South Shore include Leon’s Triathlon, butterfly table tennis and many disc golf events including the Professional Disc Golf World Championships.
