Springtime is full of new beginnings and plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy a number of activities, including Maple Syrup Time! Along the South Shore, Maple Syrup Time is a tradition – visit the Indiana Dunes National Park or Deep River County Park to see how trees are tapped for maple syrup each spring.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Go green at the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Crown Point. For Easter activities, find a brunch to enjoy or a fun egg hunt at the gardens.

In March, sample local craft beers and wines at Corkscrew and Brew in Chesterton or check out the cars and trucks at Munster’s Car Show in May.
