Movie buffs have a great selection of options for catching a terrific flick. Choose from regular, specialty, vintage and outdoor theaters along the South Shore.

Take the whole family to the 49er Drive-In located in Valparaiso, named one of the top ten drive-ins by USA Today. During the warm summer months, many of the region's towns host free movie nights in the park, including Valparaiso, Chesterton, DeMotte and Schererville.

Watch the most current blockbusters at one of the Northwest Indiana's multiplexes, including AMC Showplace's Schererville 16, Schererville 12 and Hobart 12, Goodrich Quality Theaters' Portage 16 + IMAX, Cinemark 12 in Valparaiso and Fountain Stone Theaters in Rensselaer.
