Running along the Grand Calumet River, the Seidner Dune & Swale was rescued from heavy industry. The dune and swale landscapes are globally rare and feature beautiful wildflowers throughout the spring, summer and fall. Keep your eye peeled for egrets and herons who frequent the wetlands. You may also spot falcons and bald eagles overhead. The trail is 1.3 miles and the preserve is 50 acres in size.
