Have a blast at Whiting’s Party in the Park to kick of their Independence Day festivities! Munster is celebrating Independence Day with a couple different events. July 3rd, head out to Centennial Park for a firework show, food vendors, beer garden and a live band. Thursday morning at 10 a.m. bring the kiddos to Foliage Lane and Oriole Drive for a Kiddie Parade. Crown Point Fourth of July Celebration

Enjoy the Crown Point parade at 2 p.m. and fireworks to follow at dusk. The parade will have a NEW beginning this year and start at Eisenhower Elementary on South Main St. The parade will end at the corner of Goldsborough and Main St. by the tank. The annual Naturalization Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. at The Pav. Make sure to bring chairs or blankets so you can sit and enjoy the Bill Porter Orchestra after the ceremony. The night will end with a firework show starting at approximately 9 p.m.
