Michigan City, Indiana
The area’s only raw bar, Bartlett’s Fish Camp is located in Michigan City along the water’s edge at the former Yacht Club. Patio seating can accommodate around 80 guests when at full capacity and on select evenings features live entertainment. Most guests come for the fresh oysters and seafood, but Bartlett’s also accommodates vegetarians. Indoor seating is also available. Be sure to order a seafood tower, which change daily.
Valparaiso, Indiana
Enjoy sitting outside in the garden, sipping on a variety of wines at Anderson's Winery in Valparaiso. There's plenty of room to spread out and weekends in the summer you can listen to live music from 2pm to 5pm. Snack on flatbreads, paninis or some cheese while you try and find your favorite wine.
Crown Point, Indiana
If you like to try some new craft beers while dining outdoors, you have a couple of great options in Crown Point. Crown Brewing right in town shares the space with Carriage Court Pizza offering sandwiches, appetizers, pizzas and more.
Right off of I-65, stop in at Off Square Brewing and dine in their newly expanded patio that now includes a fire pit. Off Square is well known for its delicious menu of burgers, sharables and wood fired pizzas.
Cedar Lake, Indiana
Take a seat indoors to admire Cedar Lake through the windows, take a seat on the patio or enjoy a cocktail at the “boat bar.” Lighthouse Restaurant offers diners a relaxing atmosphere, steaks, pasta and seafood. While their steak is their signature dish, you can enjoy red grouper, salmon, perch and weekly specials. Sit back and watch the sun set just over the lake to the west.
Whether by boat, car or bike make a stop at Bugaboo’s Bar and Grill at the south end of Cedar Lake. Choose from comfort food and pub fare on the patio, under an umbrella. Enjoy Bugaboo’s into the evening sitting in front of their fire pit listening to live music.
